This is a bit embarrassing for me, especially since i have been raised to believe that beggers are usually lazy, careless people. My sister gave me the idea to do this and has convinced me that this doesn't qualify as begging. However, at this point i have absolutely no other choice. My name is Nikki, i am 28 years old and i have a 7 year old daughter. Her father and i are not married but have been together for 8 years now. I am a stay at home mom since i am not allowed to work. I do not want to bore you guys with details that some may say i have brought on myself by choosing to stay with a man like this but everything is not about choice. I can not afford to leave, and he has made sure of that. My daughter is truly all i have in this world and he has hit her twice in the past month and i know that it can only get worse. I have called the police in the past and can you believe that they let the bastard out after 3 days? Neighbors have called and nothing happens. My daughter and i need to leave, she has begged me to leave and now i am ready. I have no choice. I plan to move to the south, find a job, a great school and settle there. I just need to raise enough money to get me started. (rent & security for the 1st month in an apartment, food, travel etc.) My goal is $5,000 total and $5,000 to us right now would be like $1 million toward our new life. If nothing else i sincerely appreciate that you have even taken the time to read our story. Immediately after reaching my goal, my princess and i have agreed that it would be best to leave everything except for important documents and photos behind. Again thank you for listening and i have 100% faith that things are going to work out. Everything happens for a reason and i believe that my sister was blessed with this idea for me.
